Enabling Flow functionality for your Flipbook creates a responsive, scroll-based version of your publication directly within the Flipbooks Online editor. This process converts your Flipbook into a mobile-optimized reading experience while maintaining the core content of your original document.
Enabling Flow
To create a Flow publication:
- Open your Flipbook in Flipbooks Online
- Select the Article View tab located above the canvas
Once selected, Flow will begin processing your document.
Flow processes your PDF incrementally, allowing access to edit content once the first three pages have been processed. Subsequent pages will unlock as and when Flow has finished processing them.
As each page is processed, Flow reconstructs its content into a responsive, single-column layout. At this point, all core content from the Flipbook version is retained, with a restructured layout for optimal readability.
Editing
Once a page has been processed, it becomes fully editable on the Flow Canvas, even as additional pages are still being processed. At this stage, the Flow publication can be edited independently of the existing Flipbook.
When Flow is enabled, the Flow editor loads withing the Flipbooks Online interface. Editing is facilitated by a simplified version of our drag-and-drop Experios editor.
