Brands in Flow are a convenient way to ensure that styles are consistent across your projects. After setting up a Brand, Elements created in, or added to, Flow projects will take on the styles set up for that element in your Brand.
To set up a Brand:
- Click on the hamburger menu at the top-left of the Flipbooks/Flow interface.
- Click on the ‘Manage’ panel, and then on ‘Branding’.
- Select the ‘Styling’ tab at the top of this page.
From here, you will be able to select your available Brands from the dropdown menu at the top of the page. Once you have selected a Brand to edit, you can begin making changes to the styles for each of the different element types.
In the case of text-based elements, you can add new fonts to the dropdown, or upload your own by clicking on the ‘Add more fonts’ option.
Once you’re happy with the selected styles, scroll to the bottom of the screen and click ‘Save’.
Using Your Brands
To apply your brand to a project, click on the Project Style icon, just above the Canvas on the left-hand side. This will open the Styles Panel. From here, click on ‘Apply Brand’ and select your Brand from the dropdown menu that appears. Click on ‘Apply’ to load your Brand’s styles, and finally click on ‘Apply Changes’.
After clicking ‘Apply Changes’, any elements in your project which have not been explicitly styled using the Properties Control Column will take on the styles you defined earlier. In addition, elements which are subsequently added to the Canvas will also by styled as defined within your Brand.
You can also use the Styles Panel to tweak your brand as it applies to the current project. To do so, open the section relating to the element type for which you want to make a change, adjust the style accordingly and click on ‘Save Changes’.
