The Video element allows for the embedding of video content from YouTube or Vimeo, as well as your own video files (.mp4 format). There is also a searchable selection of stock videos which can be used by the Video element.

To Add a Stock Video

After adding a video element to the canvas, click on the edit button on the element label. This will open your content library, and display any videos which have been previously added. Click on ‘Stock Video’ to search for and add a stock video to your library. When the search results appear, select the video you would like to add and click on ‘OK’. This will embed your selected video and close the Content Library panel. Your chosen video will remain in your Content Library, meaning you won’t have to search for it if you need to use it again.

To Upload A Video File

After adding a video element to the canvas, click on the edit button on the element label. This will open your content library, and display any videos which have been previously added. Click on ‘Upload’ add an mp4 video from your device. Once your video has uploaded, make sure it is selected and click ‘OK’. The video element will update to display the poster frame of your chosen video.

To Embed a Video from YouTube or Vimeo

First, add or select a video element, and then open the ‘Settings’ section of the Properties panel. Under Settings, there is a text field labelled ‘Source’. Enter the link to the YouTube or Vimeo page of the video you want to embed in this field. The video element will update to display the poster frame of your chosen video.

Once you have selected your video, further settings can be accessed using the Settings section of the Properties panel. These give you the ability to show/hide the video depending on device type, show/hide video controls, autoplay, loop or mute the video.
