3 Exciting Roles at 3D Issue

Letterkenny-based 3D Issue is expanding their team with the addition of three new roles in Tech Support, SEO and Software Training.

The recruitment drive marks the start of further planned expansion, over the next three years, as the company rolls out their new product, Experios: an online design platform for content creators.

Since the company’s launch 15 years ago, 3D Issue’s software has been used by more than 18,000 customers with 99% of sales being overseas. The company is a proud supporter of the 4 Day Work Week movement. Every week of the year, all staff have at least a 3 day weekend.

The company is currently seeking:

  • Technical Support Engineer
    To support new and existing customers by onboarding new software releases and handling technical queries.
  • Search Engine Optimisation Specialist
    To promote the software with Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and Online Reputation Management (ORM) campaigns.
  • Onboarding/Software Training Specialist
    To steer onboarding, growth, management, and retention of enterprise corporate accounts.

Technical Support Engineer

The successful candidates will be offered a full-time contract, working a 4 day work week, and join an existing team in assisting potential new customers and existing customers through the onboarding process of our new software releases and assist them in dealing with any technical queries.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Liaising with potential new customers and existing customers on technical support queries
  • Troubleshooting problems users may be experiencing and assisting them to resolve such issues
  • Liaising with the sales team with any problems trial users may be experiencing
  • Liaising with the testing and development teams to report any bugs found
  • Day-to-day tasks will include email and phone technical support, performing screen-shares, and assisting new users in getting started

The successful Technical Support candidate is required to possess the following:

  • Minimum 2.2-grade B.Sc (Hons) or B.Eng (Hons) degree in I.T., Computer Science or related field.
  • Familiarity with web technologies (such as PHP, JavaScript, Unix, FTP, etc)
  • Be personable, pro-active and energetic
  • Have strong communication and presentation skills
  • Have the ability to learn quickly and self-manage their tasks

Search Engine Optimisation Specialist

The successful candidates will work a 4 day work week and join an existing team in executing Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), Online Reputation Management (ORM), and Content planning through technical, on-page, and off-site strategies. The position will play an integral role in the performance of our product while working closely with our writing team and account manager.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing ongoing keyword/phrase research including discovery and expansion of opportunities
  • Researching content recommendations for organic SEO and Paid campaigns
  • Recommend and optimize the website and campaign strategies based on analysis of sales, website, and competitor analytics.
  • Optimising copy and landing pages for search engine optimization
  • Maintain performant PPC campaigns within a given budget.

The successful candidate is required to possess the following:

  • Proven Experience working on SEO
  • Proven SEM Experience. Particularly with PPC Campaigns on Google.
  • Good knowledge of ranking factors and how both content and technology affect this.
  • In-depth knowledge of common tools such as Google Analytics and Search Console
  • Update to date with current trends and ranking factors.
  • Bachelors of Science in a related quantitative field.
  • Some working knowledge of HTML and CSS is recommended.

Onboarding/Software Training Specialist

The successful candidates will work a full-time 4 day work week and join an existing team in e onboarding, growth, management, and retention for Enterprise Corporate accounts. The position will play an integral role in the performance of our product while working closely with our writing team and account manager.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Onboarding  new clients, including pre-sales, provisioning, delivery, deployment, and post-sales service
  • Assuming responsibility for learning, in detail, technical concepts of our products
  • Create and Deliver engaging, comprehensive training to customers and staff to ensure their readiness to go live
  • Be the customer’s number one advocate, prioritizing recommendations that will have the largest customer impact and relaying these recommendations to management
  • Be able to interact and effectively communicate with internal executives, managers, project managers, and developers
  • Manage onboarding/conversion timelines and keep all parties on target to meet due dates.
  • Be the main point of contact for onboarding all 3D Issue staff to new products and releases, working directly with our CTO and CXO.
  • Assist customers via live chat, email, text, and phone.
  • Assist the support and writing teams in creating complete and informative documentation.
  • Provide product support to other teams, as necessary.

The successful candidate is required to possess the following:

  • 2-3 years of experience in software training or customer success
  • Expertise managing client relationships and accounts for technically complex products and platforms
  • Strong analytical skills to monitor, measure, and report on customer performance and analyze trends, issues, and needs within your portfolio
  • Cross-functional experience communicating and managing relationships with internal stakeholders, both technical and commercial
  • An aptitude to understand 3D Issue’s platforms and build relationships with customers of varying technical savvy
  • Be able to work independently and efficiently with minimal Sr. Management involvement
  • BONUS POINTS for prior SaaS experience and an understanding of sales CRMs such as Hubspot.
