Working with Layouts

Layouts are similar to blocks, in that they are composed of a pre-designed set of elements that can be added to a page.

The difference between Layouts and Blocks is that Layouts represent a complete Page template. This means that if a Layout is added to a Page, it will completely replace any existing Page content (if any).

Add a Layout by expanding the Layouts group from the Add Content Control Column, and clicking on the Layout you would like to apply to the current page. Remember that any content you have previously added to the page will be lost after applying the Layout.

Custom Layouts

Pages can be saved as Layouts for later use by clicking on the Experios Main Menu and then Save Page as Page Layout. This will save the current page as a Layout, which can be accessed from the My Pages category of the Layouts Section of the Add Content Control Column.

Custom Page Layouts can be deleted by clicking on the trashcan icon at the bottom-right of the Layout thumbnail.
