Settings

Experios users can adjust the properties for each element or feature in their publication. Simply select, on your canvas, the feature that you’d like to modify. Choose “Properties” and then “Settings” to access a menu of options for that element.

Image

When working with images, there are a number of settings to choose from:

  • “Hide on mobile” can be helpful if an image is particularly large or if the publication has been optimized for desktop
  • “Layout” determines how the image will appear within its container
  • “Analytics Tags” are helpful for SEO
  • “Avoid wrapping with SVG” maintains the image’s aspect ratio

Text and Rectangle

There’s a “Hide on mobile” option for these features, too.

Video

Again, “Hide on mobile” can be a useful tool for large videos.

“Autoplay”, “Loop” and “Mute” options are available and it’s possible to show or hide the video’s “Controls”.

You can set up your video’s “Source” as your own “Content Library” or a YouTube or Vimeo URL.

“Avoid wrapping with SVG” maintains the video’s aspect ratio.

And adding “Analytics Tags” helps boost SEO.

Button

There’s a “Hide on mobile” option and you can create a “Title” for your button, too.

You can also:

Choose whether the reader opens the button’s target in a new or current window

Create analytics tags

Change the buttons you’ve created to links

This “Settings” section is also where you set your button’s target – choosing between adding a web address or go-to-page function.

There’s also an “Alignment” option. You can choose where the text sits inside the button: left, right or center.
