What’s NEW in Version 5?
Version 5 brings some significant enhancements to the digital magazine software. This latest version empowers you to create digital editions in HTML5, Flash and eReader formats. There are also substantial improvements for the end reader in terms of visual design. layout and controls.

Digital editions for any device
Your audience now have a number of different devices. With the 3D Issue solution, one application creates digital editions that can be viewed on PC, Mac, Netbooks, eReaders, iPads, iPhones, Android and other mobile devices!
eReader ouput
The eReader output option allows you to create ‘eBooks’ for the growing eReader market which includes Kindle, Nook and iBooks. Version 5 can create .epub and .mobi versions of your pdfs so you can sell them to readers via the Kindle store or iBook store.
HTML5 output
PDF to HTML5 Digital Publishing. Digital magazines can now be created in HTML5 output, enabling mobile users on iPhones, iPads, Android and other and mobile devices to get the very best digital experience, when and where they want to access it, with all the features of the web version.
Blog and RSS to digital mag
A free application is packaged with 3D Issue that lets you create instant, formatted digital magazines from your existing blog or RSS feeds! A perfect solution for creating digital newsletters for your audience from your existing web and blog content.
Presentation mode
You can now select the page layout of the digital edition to suit the publication. In addition to the book layout you can now select presentation view, allowing single pages to be viewed rather than the traditional double page layout.
Saved searches
3D Issue version 5 adds the saved search feature allowing you to empower your readers by letting them choose to save particular search terms or phrases saving them valuable time when searching for a text on a repeated basis.
YouTube embedded video
In addition to adding your video files in MP4 and FLV files to your publication, Version 5 enables you to stream videos directly from YouTube to play inside your digital magazine. No original video files required, it’s fast and simple.
Interface update and new UX
Version 5 has undergone a makeover with an updated skin design which brings a more sophisticated and styled interface setting your digital magazine with the perfect look and feel. Of course you can customise many of the areas too.
Toolbar layout options
Sometimes the standard placement at the bottom of the interface is simply not right for your publication. You can now select from a number of placement choices for the user controls, navigation and features to fit best with your digital publications.
Thumbnail view
Version 5 gives you more options in terms of navigation. You can now select to show a thumbnail style navigation panel to the skin allowing a visual representation of the publication and contents enabling your audience to see an overall view of the publication.
Enhanced customisations
Version 5 gives you even more tools to make your digital editions truly unique and stand out. The skin has further customisation options giving you more freedom to put your own stamp on the magazines you create.
Additional Info text areas
Adding ‘more’ info areas to areas in your publication allows you to provide readers with extra information without cluttering the pages. If you are digitising a catalogue add further shipping or product specifcations which can be easily accessed by your readers.
