Have your ‘books’ ready to be published, but they’re in Excel format?
Have reports, tables, forms and modules created in Access?
Have drawings through CAD?
Essays or theses in Word?...Don’t worry
Now you can easily print your files (any files) into a digital online publication.
Whatever the document, click ‘File’, ‘Print’. Select “3D Issue Printer”. Click “OK”
3D Issue Printer is a windows based solution that lets you convert any and all files into a digitised page turning publication in a few easy steps. You can have them all combined into one publication if need be! Using the same conversion software and templates, 3D Issue Printer will also let you adjust settings for the end-user.
Add & Replace pages
3D Issue Printer allows you to add pages to an existing digital edition or even replace pages. As you can add to digital editions, this means that you will be able to create digital editions in segments. Not everything has to be ready at once. You can digitise each section of a report or portfolio as it is created.
Create a magazine from multiple formats.
As long as your software application has a print option, you can generate a digital edition from it. Therefore this means that you can create digital editions from a multitude of different windows applications. For example imagine your front cover was designed in Photoshop, your table of contents in word, your graphs in Powerpoint, your statistics tables in excel and your main content in inDesign. You can create a single digital edition from all of these files. This is done simple by printing each document to the 3D Issue Printer and then adding those pages to an existing issue.
Customise the display
settings
You might like to maximise the impact of your publication by resizing the initial view to the maximum available space or you can choose to fix the initial display in order to maximize speed.
Enable Printing
You can choose to disable or enabled printing. If enabled, this feature allows your ‘Emag’ readers to select a range of pages that they wish to print.
Read Right to Left
Languages such as Arabic and Hebrew are read from right to left. To cater for these clients we have added a button that when selected, reverses the entire publication to suit that format.
Zooming options
Zoom to a single page at a time or zoom to double page spread mode. You can also change how the user scrolls around the page when they have zoomed in. Move around the page via “click an drag” or on “mouse movement”.
Image Quality
This is perhaps one of the most important options as it directly effects the quality and size of your digital edition.
Remove Bleed
Normally when a publisher sends files to a printing company for printing, these crop-marks or bleeds are cut out. We feel it’s important to have these cut out of digital publications also.
