post date

When a publisher is creating a digital publication, they must consider how they will allow their readers to share their publication to their friends and colleagues.

With the 3D Issue software, publishers can create publications with the peace of mind that their readers can share their publications to readers outside their catchment area.

It is very easy to allow this through the 3D Issue software. The publisher will first need to open the 3D Issue software and select the option for sharing under Design> Features> Sharing as follows;

Once the publication is built online, the reader can navigate through the reader toolbar and they can select the share button as follows:

This will then give the readers four icons to choose from; Share via email, share via Facebook, share via twitter and share via Google+

Share via email

It is very easy for the reader to share the publication via email. All the reader needs to do is select Share from the reader toolbar and click the email button. They can simply enter their friends name, email address and they can add a message. Once they click Submit, the message will be sent to the reader’s friend.

Share via Facebook

It is very easy for the reader to share the publication via Facebook. All the reader needs to do is select Share from the reader toolbar and click the Facebook Icon. This will open Facebook and once the reader logs into their account, they can share either on their own page or a friends page as seen below;

Share via Twitter

It is very easy for the reader to share the publication via Twitter. All the reader needs to do is select Share from the reader toolbar and click the Twitter Icon. The reader can then Tweet the link to the publication as seen below;

Share via Google+

It is very easy for the reader to share the publication via Google+. All the reader needs to do is select Share from the reader toolbar and click the Google+ Icon. The reader can share the publication by adding a friend’s name, circle or email address, as seen below.
