The archive/library icon will only display in your digital edition’s function menu if you have the “Library” feature checked on the Features menu, found on the Design tab of 3D Issue as well as having a library file uploaded to your site.

1) If you’re uploading using 3D Issue’s built-in uploader, you have a chance to specify the location of the library file and issues that you create using that FTP profile will automatically get added to the library file. The library file gets automatically created, uploaded and updated as you create and upload issues.

2) If you’re uploading manually, you would need to just ensure that you’ve created a library file and uploaded to your site. We would usually recommend that you upload the library file into the same directory that you’re uploading your digital editions to.

When building your edition, you should then get prompted to specify the library file location so that the edition knows what online location the library is located at so that the archive can pull the issues in that library file to display within the archive.

No Library Info Dialog

If you need more issues to display in your archive, don’t forget to edit the library file so that the new issues are added to it and upload the updated library file to the same location.

If you have any queries about this, please don’t hesitate to contact support@3dissue.com for more details.
