Head in the clouds? I wouldn’t blame you. In this case it’s good to be in the cloud!
If you publish digital magazines, brochures, catalogs or eBooks you now can host them in the cloud. You don’t need an IT team each time you publish an edition. Simply allow a server like 3D Issue to host your issues. It cuts out the hosting side for you, you will no longer have to contact your webmaster or FTP for hosting. This is a saving grace for many customers who prefer to work in this manner. We have blogged in the past about the advantages of cloud publishing and many of these advantages are still appealing to our customers on a daily basis.
In technical terms cloud publishing is actually a hosting service that enables users to use resources remotely over a network connection without investing in processing power themselves. Cloud service providers therefore allow publishers to meet their online file storage requirements. Customers usually sign up for a yearly contract.
If you create flipbooks with your 3D Issue software and you don’t have the resources to host your own 3D Issues. Don’t fret; with Version 7 you can upload your publications to our cloud service. Our new cloud hosting service allows clients to harness our Amazon EC2 cloud. You just need V7 of the Pro or Enterprise software and then the option of cloud hosting is available to you as an add-on.
