Can’t access publication online, fails to load template details.

Versions : Professional & Lite

This is most likely the result of a simple mistake you may have made while setting up your template details.

There are two key aspects you need to verify.

1. You have a logo selected and uploaded.
2. You have entered the correct URLs into the domain section.

To verify these details follow these steps

1. Run 3DIssue and open the publication you wish to upload.
2. Select the template you wish to use from the drop down menu.
3. Once you have selected the template, click the ‘Edit’ button.
4. You will now be presented with a new window. Check to ensure the template name and copyright information are correct. If these details are correct then select ‘next’.
5. The next panel displays your logo. Verify that you have uploaded a logo by selecting the ‘Refresh’ button. If no logo displays then you need to upload one.   6. Once the logo is set you can select ‘Next’.

You would be required to enter ‘http://www.website.com/publication‘ as a domain. Once you have verified the domain URLs are correct, click the ‘Next’ button.

This panel is the ‘Domains’ panel, here you set all the URLs which direct to where for publications. So if you are uploading to

7. This Panel is the SEO Profile, you can set up a new profile for each publication you create. The details you enter here will result in increase the chances of your publication being found by search engines. If you are satisfied with the details in this panel select the ‘Finish’ button to upload the template settings to our server.

After verifying these steps please recheck the publication you were trying to access, it should now be viewable.

 

Still can’t view? Try these solutions..

#1. Have to set the exact URL ? A common problem we encounter is users entering http://website.com instead of http://www.website.comIf you do this the publication will be unable to retrieve the correct logo / templates.

If you are unsure which type of URL you have you can put both into your list of domains.There is no limit to the amount of domains you can register.
